PRODUCTION

At the Kauai Film Academy, you will learn by doing from day one through hands-on experience. Cinematography, Storyboarding, Set-Design, Hair & Make Up, & Video Editing are just a few of the departments you can chose to specialize in. If you want to switch departments, go for it! We want you to find your passion.

ACTING

We also have offer opportunities to be infront of the lens. Unlike other film programs, the emphasis of our program is providing practical experience and hands-on education to our students so that not only do they develop their craft as actors, but excel at acting in front of the camera.

MUSIC & SOUND DESIGN

Sound is a huge part of the filmmaking process. With the help of our instructors and collaborations with local musicians our students produce all of their own original soundtracks, scores, and sound effects for their films.
